Long Memory of the Wrights |
In 1913, a year after Wilbur died, Bishop Milton
Wright made this entry in his diary: "Dr. Oliver Cook Haugh was
electrocuted in Columbus, Ohio...He killed his father and mother and brother
November 4, 1905, and set fire to the house to conceal the crime..." Oliver
Cook Haugh had been the young man who struck Wilbur in the face with a shinny
stick in 1886.Wilbur's Shinny Accident and the Long Memory of the Wrights |
